A Practice Built on
Trust and Precision
Amanah Legal was founded on one conviction: that businesses deserve clear, considered legal guidance when formalising their structures.
Back to HomeOur Story
From a Small Practice to a Trusted Name in Corporate Formation
Amanah Legal was established in Kuala Lumpur in 2009 by a group of corporate lawyers who saw a clear gap in the market: business owners and entrepreneurs needed a firm that could guide them through company formation with clarity, not complexity. The name Amanah — meaning trust in Malay — reflects the founding principle that every client relationship begins and ends with accountability.
Over fifteen years, we have assisted more than 800 companies with their incorporation, from home-grown Malaysian ventures registering their first Sdn Bhd to global enterprises establishing a presence in the ASEAN region. Our engagements have spanned manufacturing, technology, professional services, and financial advisory sectors.
We remain a focused, mid-sized firm by choice. This allows every partner to maintain personal oversight of client matters, and every associate to develop genuine expertise rather than rotate through generalist work.

Corporate Formation Expertise in Kuala Lumpur
Amanah Legal operates at the intersection of Malaysian corporate law and practical business advisory. Our team combines working knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2012, and MIDA's investment policies to deliver registration and structuring services that are both legally sound and commercially oriented.
From sole proprietors formalising a venture as a Sdn Bhd to regional holding companies seeking a Malaysia-registered branch, we approach each matter with the same care: understand the objective first, then chart the appropriate path through the regulatory landscape.
Our Kuala Lumpur office at Menara Amanah, Jalan Sultan Ismail, serves as the central point of contact for clients across Peninsular Malaysia and internationally. We conduct consultations in person and remotely, accommodating founders and executives across different time zones.
